RV Sites and Oakley Campground Details

 

RV SITE RESERVATIONS:  Oakley City RV sites are in the Oakley Recreational Complex north of the outdoor arena by the covered horse stalls.  To Reserve your RV Site, please visit the City's Reservation Calendar. 

NOTE: All RV sites are unavailable 10-days before and after the Oakley City July 4th Independence Day Rodeo & Celebration and for other scheduled events held throughout the summer.

 

 

RV Sites with Hook-ups:  Oakley City has (7) RV Sites, and these sites have full hook-ups (access to water, sewer, and electrical) and available year-round (see dates below). NOTE: June through August are allowed for nightly rentals only for up to 14-days total for these dates.

RV Sites without Sewer Hook-ups: The City has (2) RV Sites without sewer hook-ups and these sites have water and electrical only. Due to snow build up from snow sliding off the roof of the covered horse stalls, these two sites are only available for monthly rentals in September, October, November (depending upon snow build-up), April, and May.

Sewer Dump:  The City has (1) sewer dump located in RV Site #8.  The cost is $10 per dump and may be paid using the QR code located at this RV site. 

Rental Rates:  Please be aware of reservation signs located at each site.  PLEASE DO NOT PULL INTO A VACANT RV SITE WITHOUT OBTAINING PREAPPROVAL FROM OAKLEY CITY OFFICES.

  • June 1 thru August 31:  Nightly rentals only at $55 per overnight stay.  Maximum stay is a total of 14-days total during these dates.
  • September 1 thru May 31:  Nightly rentals and monthly rentals are available with a maximum stay of 90-days occurring during 12-month period. Extensions/Exceptions are subject to an appeal to the Oakley City Council.  The monthly rental rate is $750 and starts on the 1st day of the month and ending on the last day of the month. Renters are responsible for winterizing their own water lines.
  • For monthly rentals only, an additional security deposit of $500 is required and is payable at the time of your first month’s reservation.  The security deposit may be refunded within 3-5 business days after you have vacated your RV site, if the site meets cleaning standards throughout your stay, the site sustained no damage during your stay, and no complaints were received regarding noise or disturbances with your RV site.  If there are issues with the RV site after you vacate, Oakley City will contact you with the amount that will be withheld from your deposit to be applied toward cleaning and repair.  If there are problems with your site when you arrive, please document with photos, and contact the city offices. Oakley City Offices are open Monday-Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Cancellation of your reservation may occur by providing written notice to Oakley City. 

  • Cancellations received with more than 90-days in advance of the reservation start date will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations received within 90-days of the reservation start date will receive a 50% refund of the rental fee.
  • Cancellations received less than 30-days prior to the reservation start date means forfeiting the entire rental fee.

 

OAKLEY CAMPGROUND SITES RESERVATIONS

NOTE: All Campground sites are unavailable 10-days before and after the Oakley City July 4th Independence Day Rodeo & Celebration and for other scheduled events held throughout the summer.

 

The Oakley Campground is in the Oakley City Recreational Complex northeast of the outdoor arena and is operated on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations are not required.

The campground includes a pavilion and gathering area, and access to water, electricity, and restroom facilities.  There are (18) individual camp sites that are available for rental.   Oakley Campground rules, maps, and information are located the wooden sign located in the middle of the campground. 

Rental Rates:  Please be aware of reservation signs located at the Oakley Campground that may affect you being able to rent a campsite. 

  • April 1 thru October 31(WEATHER PERMITTING): Nightly rental only at $25 per overnight stay per campsite and are done on a first-come, first-served basis.  The maximum stay is a total of 14-days during these dates.  Monthly rentals are not allowed at any time. Payment may be made by using the drop-boxes on-site.
  • November 1 thru April 1 (WEATHER PERMITTING):  Oakley Campground is closed and not available for rent due to weather conditions.

For group reservations: If you desire to reserving (5) or more campsites during specific dates, please contact Oakley City offices at 435-783-0058. 

GROUP RATES:

    • (5) or more campground sites:             $  25 per site per night
    • Lower 12 Sites w/Pavilion:                    $250 per night
    • Entire Campground (all 18 sites):         $350 per night
