The Oakley Rodeo presented by Bolt Ranch Store is in its 89th year and is considered one of the top 3 rodeos over the 4th of July and ranked #35 of all rodeos. Our rodeo showcases the world's top ProRodeo and WPRA athletes who complete for a prize purse of $180,000 ($20,000 per event, and for team roping, the header and header each receive $20,000). Events include: Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Women's Break Away Roping, Tie Down Roping, Women's Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding.

Our rodeo includes 2 slack performances. Slack is defined as an overflow of contestants. Slack performances are scheduled for July 2 at 5:00 PM and July 3 at 9:00 AM.  If you want to see a long list of top performers and get a sneak peek on the rodeo action, you want to attend slack, which has no admission fees and free parking!

In 2023, the Oakley Rodeo presented by Bolt Ranch Store negotiated a multi-year contract with Pete Carr Pro Rodeo from Dallas, TX (15 times PRCA Stock Contractor of the Year nominee) providing the finest animal athletes in Professional Rodeo. The Oakley Rodeo is also pleased to have secured one of the rodeo industry's top announcers, Anthony Lucia, in a multi-year contract.

It's more than just a rodeo, this has become a destination. When you can bring your entire family, your friends, it doesn't matter what age you are, there's going to be something for you.” ~ Anthony Lucia (2023 ProRodeo Announcer of the Year)
