The following is a list of candidates running for Oakley City Mayor and City Council:

Municipal Elections Day will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Oakley City Hall, 960 West Center Street, Oakley. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

NOTICE

to be voted on in the
Oakley City Municipal General Election
on November 5th, 2013

Any persons seeking to become a candidate for Oakley City Mayor or City Council (2 available positions) for 4 year and City Council (1 available position) for 2 year shall file a “Declaration of Candidacy” form in person with the City Recorder. The forms will be available at the Oakley City Hall, 960 West Center Street, Oakley, June 1st - June 7^th, 2013 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Candidate Filing Deadline ends June 7^th, 2013 UGA-10-3-301 at 5:00 p.m.

Below is a list of qualifications:

1. Be a United States Citizen

2. Be a registered voter of Oakley City

3. Be a resident of Oakley City for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
